Original language description
The first attempts on introducing luminescent porous silicon agglomerates into various TiO2 thin-film matrices (amorphous, crystalline and inverse opal) are reported. Si-ncs keep their high luminescent capability in these matrices. Moreover, Si-ncs embedded in the inverse TiO2 (anatase) opal matrix show marked modifications both in their emission spectrum and in luminescence dynamics.
