  • Original language description

    Lutetium hafnium oxide, Lu4Hf3O12 (LHO), was prepared in the form of powder samples by solid state reaction. We report here about the synthesis and about luminescence characteristics of pure and doped LHO, as well as of the pure and doped binary components, namely Lu2O3 and HfO2. The Eu, Tb, Pr, Ce and Bi trivalent ions were used as the dopants.
