Effect of Ba and Ti doping on magnetic properties of multiferroic Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3.
Original language description
On the basis of extensive experimental studies of Pb1-xBax(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3 (PFN-BFN) and Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)1-xTixO3 (PFN-PT) single crystals by several experimental methods, novel phase diagrams describing the magnetic properties of these solid solutions wereproposed. The comprehensive consideration of the magnetic properties of the PFN-based solid solutions has shown that these phase diagrams can be explained assuming the coexistence in the crystal lattice of the long-range antiferromagnetic cluster, whichdefines the Néel order parameter, with the finite size mixed ferromagnetic-AFM clusters, responsible for the spin-glass order parameter.
