Energetic beams of negative and neutral hydrogen from intense laser plasma interaction

  • Original language description

The method of production of fast neutrals and negative ions is rather general and can be applied for production of energetic negative ions and neutral atoms of other species and for measurements of the cross sections of the chargé exchange processes. High power lasers can be used to accelerate ions to energies of tens of MeV.1
