The complex (2,20-biquinoline- 2N,N0)(carbamoylcyanonitrosomethanide- 2N,O)- chloridocopper(II) acetonitrile monosolvate was prepared as a result of nucleophilic addition of water to the dicyanonitrosomethanide ion in the presence of CuII and biq. In this paper the structure and properties of the complex are presented.
