The plasma hydrogenation of hedgehog-like ZnO nanopowder
Original language description
The plasma hydrogenation is done in a novel inductively coupled plasma (ICP) quartz reactor developed in the cooperation with SVCS Process Innovation, s.r.o. The reactor operates at the radio frequency 13.56 MHz, 10-200 W discharge power, gas pressure 2-100 Pa and gas flow 1-100 sccm. Prior the plasma hydrogenation, the powder was pressed into pellets. The photoluminescence in near UV region (peak at 380 nm) has been enhanced whereas the deep defect related yellow PL (broad band 550-600 nm) has been significantly decreased after plasma hydrogenation.
