    The present invention relates to a non-flow electrochemical energy-storing device capable of periodical charging and re-charging. In a first aspect of the present invention, a system of a non-flow electrochemical energy-storing device comprises an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte, wherein the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of metal perchlorate in water-in-salt concentration offering a wide electrochemical stability window.
