The Role of DSD and Radio Wave Scattering in Rain Attenuation
Original language description
Drop size distribution (DSD) together with scattering analysis play a very important role in rain attenuation prediction in micro- and mm- wave lengths. This study is showing the contribution of particular rain drops of certain volume to the instantaneous rain attenuation while the signal scattering on rain drops is considered. The role of rain drop size at various frequencies of propagating signal is discussed.
