Filler Fraction Effect on Creep Response of Crosslinked Polyester Matrix with Mineral Filler.
Original language description
The effect of marble mineral filler on the creep response of crosslinked polyester matrix before and after physical ageing has been investigated. A number of composites with different filler content have been studied in order to understand the role of the filler for the creep response. The changes in the two deformation characteristics - creep compliance and Young's modulus, as well as the ratios between the composite and matrix compliance, respectively the moduli of the composites and the matrix, havebeen established as functions of the filler fraction. It is shown that the experimentally established natural regularities can be analytica-lly described using simple engineering functions.
