Application of Experimental and Computational Modelling Results in Flexible Pavement Design
Original language description
The results of experimental research on characteristics of material behaviour of asphalt mixes are confronted with assumption adopted in the current pavement design method in order to account for mechanical properties of the asphaltic pavement materials. The methods are discussed allowing performance evaluation of pavements with new and innovative materials as well as with built-in thin stress absorbing elements.
