Effect of Fiber Prestress on the Behaviour of Woven Composite Tubes
Original language description
The purpose of the contribution is to introduce an efficient procedure for obtaining a macroscopic response of multilayered woven composite tubes subjected to general thermomechanical loading and prescribed distribution of initial fiber prestress. The present modeling framework draws upon the classical uncoupled multiscale modeling approach. Here, we limit our attention to two-scale (meso-micro) problem with the loading conditions applied on meso-scale. The main goal is then shifted towards the evalution of the influence of specific arrangement of reinforcements on the overall response derived on meso-scale
