For evaluation of the quality of the optical system in the diffraction theory of optical imaging it is necessary to calculate the point-spread function and the optical transfer function of this system. A large number of such calculations must be carriedout during the optimisation of the parameters of the optical system. Our work proposes a method for numerical calculation of diffraction integrals, which reduces substantially the computing time and offers a suitable accuracy
