Original language description
For the determination of geometrical parameters of a selected part of St. Vitus Cathedral to be used as imput onto the numerical model of the building, a combination of geodetic surveying of clearly identifiable points of the building structure with digitization of project drawings was employed. The surveying process involved a new device with a laser distance meter. Transformation of raster documents into a newly surveyed site plan facilitates the determination of geometrical parameters of any elementsof the drawing.
