Original language description
An experimental and theoretical research of fire behaviour of cold-formed corrugated sheeting held at Czech Technical University in Prague is presented in the paper. The work is based on five tests of the roof-decking including the measurements of temperature in the connections. The connection tests take into account the size of the bolt head, the washer and the slot in hole in span direction. The non-linear FE simulation by beam elements includes spread of plasticity, large strain, large deformations,temperature influence on material and the support conditions. The prediction model of resistance of the corrugated sheeting under high temperature is developed based on the European design methodology. The prediction models are compared to the tests results. The fire safety of corrugated sheeting is discussed.
