Biomechanical and Biochemical Regulators of Bone Density

  • Original language description

Limit cycles of bone remodelling are regulated biomechanically and biochemically (genetically). The speeds of biochemical reactions (i.e. the speeds of intense metabolic processes) depend on the volume changes of molar mixtures and on the stress changesin a bone element. Processes of density depend on both the dominant volume changes of molar mixtures and stress changes. The resultant speed of the j-th biochemical reaction, which forms part of biochemical (metabolic) processes in the bone tissue (in the remodelling limit cycle) is dependent on the product of speeds of the biochemical reaction initiated biochemically (resp. genetically) and on the speeds of chemical reaction initiated biomechanically. Thus, the j-th biochemical reaction is influenced by the internal - primary chemical (genetical) effects and the external - biomechanical effects.

Biomechanické a biochemické regulátoty kostní remodelace

  • Czech description

Kostní remodelace je regulována faktory genetickými, bichemickými a biomechanickými. Genetické vlivy se uplatňují většinou z hlediska iniciace metabolických procesů startujících vznik osteoklastů a rezorbci kosti, biomechanické vlivy se permanentně (během fyziologicky normálního stavu) uplatňují v podobě změn velikostí napětí a deformací. Signum změn napětí v kosti (vzhledem k ideálnímu rovnovažnému stavu napjatosti v kortikalis) dominantně akceleruje nebo retarduje vznik nové kosri..
