Shear Connection in Composite Trusses
Original language description
Simple theoretical modelling of a composite truss using both plastic and elastic approach is described. Numerical non-linear analysis of shear flow between concrete slab and steel truss girder for various shear resistance of the connectors and various load-slip diagrams are presented. Distribution of local shear forces developed at truss nodes in elastic and plastic region is analysed with respect to load level. In conclusion information concerning level of plastic redistribution of shear forces along the connection of the truss and concrete slab in accordance with full or partial shear connection and ductility of the connectors is presented.
