Original language description
Large parametric studies concerning unstiffened and stiffened plates in compression are presented and discussed with respect to Eurocode EN 1993-1-5. Both elastic and elastic-plastic reduction factors were derived, using GMNIA analysis. Conclusions and simple recommendation for design of plates under compression are presented.

Czech description
Uvádí se výsledky rozsáhlých parametrických studií tlačených nevyztužených a vyztužených stěn a jejich porovnání s Eurokódem EN 1993-1-5. Pomocí GMNIA analýzy byly odvozeny pružné i pružnoplastické součinitele boulení. Závěrem jsou uvedena jednoduchá doporučení pro návrh tlačených stěn.
