Sustainable Construction through Optimized Concrete Structures and Using Recycled Waste
Original language description
Development of construction materials, structures and construction technologies should be based on the struggle for the reduction of primary material and energy resources, while keeping performance quality, safety and durability of the structure on required high level. Three significant environmental results of reduction of material consumption in the construction industry can be recognized: savings in natural resources, reduction of embodied environmental impacts and reduction of the volume of waste materials at the end of the life cycle of the structure.
