Original language description
Effect of blast furnace slag addition on the salt transport and storage properties of high performance concrete is studied in the paper. The obtained data reveal the positive effect of blast furnace slag addition on the properties of studied concrete. The addition of blast furnace slag leads to lower total open porosity of studied material what takes effect on the deceleration of chloride transport. On this account a prolonged durability of slag modified high performance concrete can be anticipated.
