Experimental monitoring of moisture transfer across interfaces in brick masonry
Original language description
Experimental investigation of moisture and heat transfer across brick-mortar interfaces in brick masonry is presented in the paper. A semi-scale device is utilized for that purpose. Monitoring of moisture and temperature profiles in the difference climate conditions provides information on the properties of the interface which makes possible to identify the interface permeability. This parameter can be then used in computational models of heat and moisture transport in brick masonry which significantlyadds to the accuracy of model predictions.
