Long-term investigation of concrete elements with FRP
Original language description
This paper is focused on the long-term investigation of two concrete slabs prestressed with FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) bars. Each slab was reinforced with different type of FRP - glass and carbon. It was verified experimentally and numerically that GFRP prestressed panel exhibits extensive time dependent deflection. On the other hand CFRP prestressed slab showed reasonable creep rate which is suitable for civil engineering purposes.
