Hygric and thermal properties of building materials as necessary input data for computational modelling of coupled heat and moisture transport
Original language description
The characteristics of selected materials of load bearing structures, thermal insulation materials and materials for external or internal finishes are presented in the paper, including basic physical properties, hygric properties and thermal properties. All these parameters will find further use in computational modelling of coupled heat and moisture transport, which is a very effective tool for the assessment of hygrothermal performance of porous building materials and their multi-layered systems.
