    This review, as its title suggests, examines, the determination of exceptional loading induced on a structure made from reinforced concrete by an explosion. It presents calculation of explosion wave pressure or explosion impulse caused by different typesof explosion scenarios; non-contact explosion and contact explosion. Consequently, it deals with process of conversion of explosion pressure or explosion impulse to loading of a reinforced concrete structure. Finally, the structure response to explosionload and assessment whether or not the structure will withstand.
