Adaptable Model of Traffic Forecast
Original language description
Basic inputs to the model are the actual data of traffic performance, with current data on the degree of motorization coupled with the current macroeconomic data, such as time series GDP, level of unemployment, various demographic data, etc. The output from the model is the prediction of the degree of motorization and prediction of transport services with optional time horizon. We used standard statistical methods based on time series analysis so as to derive predictions. Adaptive traffic forecasts canbe easily recomputed at any future time.
