High-temperature analysis of a hybrid-fiber reinforced cement composites
Original language description
A hybrid -fiber reinforced cement composite was studied in this paper. It manifested a good resistance against high-temperature exposure up to 1000°C. The bulk density was almost the same in the whole temperature range. The porosity increased slower in acomparison with most other fiber reinforced cement composite materials. The thermal diffusivity did not increase significantly up to 600°C. The most limiting factor for the supposed use of this type of material as fire-protective lining was the linear thermal expansion coefficient because after reaching 700°C the material exhibited a remarkable shrinkage.
