Thermal properties of aramid-fiber reinforced cement composite
Original language description
Specific heat capacity, thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity and linear thermal expansion coefficient of hybrid aramid-fiber reinforced cement composite are determined as functions of temperature up to 1000°C. Experimental results show that the dispersed aramid fiber reinforcement in a combination with the autoclaving technology can lead to a production of composite material resisting well to the elevated temperatures up to 700°C. For higher temperatures, the applicability of the analyzed compositein building industry as a protective lining is limited because of its substantial thermal shrinkage.
