In this paper, basic physical properties hygric properties, thermal and mechanical properties of six lime-pozzolana plasters containing fine-ground ceramics as pozzolana are the main analyzed parameters. In studied plasters with different amount 10 - 60% of fine-ground ceramics are used. On the basis of the measurements performed, the suitability of the newly developed plasters for an application in reconstruction of historical buildings is assessed. The lime binder is required for the renewal of plasters used on historical buildings. More suitable and historically used binders are materials based on lime putty and admixtures with pozzolanic properties. Taking into consideration that this level of properties is achieved without using any kind of cement which is in accordance with the present effort of conservators to use materials with traditional composition one may expect that this plaster can find successful application in reconstruction of historical buildings in the future.
