The project focuses on research of bridges affected by floods in 2010 in the north of Bohemia. As part of assistance affected communities were collected consistent amount of information about the structures themselves especially about their action duringthe floods. From this information was created descriptive and figurative catalog. Based on the analysis of the data was selected specific structural system that will be model tested in cooperation with Klokner Institute. The model is produced in a reduced scale, and is loaded with the corresponding loads and further to the collapse. Based on evaluation of the field survey and evaluation of the model tests will be created set of design recommendations and standard details as an aid to design of bridge structures in the area potentially affected by the floods
