Possibility of use recycled aggregate to constructions is related to quality of the recycled material. This is the reason why it is very important to make a lot of tests of recycled aggregates. These tests are described in the European Standards for aggregates to concrete and latest version contains also information about possibility to test recycled aggregates for concrete the same way as natural aggregates. Properties of recycled aggregates which are possible to use for concrete are introduced in other standard which is different for each country. This paper includes important tests of recycled aggregates, which are needed for designing a concrete mixture. There are selected most important properties of recycled aggregates which have biggest impact of concrete properties.
