Main aim of this work is perform numerical simulation of barrier crash test. This article is focused on processes of model preparation and verification. For this purpose two different models were created. First model is new design of bridge safety barrier and second model is certificated bridge safety barrier. Modal analysis was used for verification of finite element model for both models. Measured modal frequencies were compared with computed frequencies. After that verified models will be used for performing crash test in LS-DYNA software
