Original language description
This paper is focused on the wooden lightweight-framed construction exposed to the fire. The focal point of this study is the research of the contribution to the fire resistance of timber beam using boards. The correct modeling of the fire and sufficientknowledge of wood behavior at elevated temperatures leads to improvement and specification of the results of the fire resistance times. The results of the fire test when the timber beam was covered by calcium silicate fire protective boards are presented there. On the basis of the fire test results, evaluation and numerical model in ANSYS was carried out.
