Original language description
Running tunnels to extend line "A" Prague metro are essentially driven two modern earth pressure ballance shields. The tunnels alighment passes under two major groups of existing buildings. Influence on objects was previously evaluated analytically and by numerical modelling in the plane and space. During excavation was carried out extensive monitoring of deformations of objects. Monitoring data are compared with the outputs of both teoretical solutions and with the limitt values laid down by the staticdeformation opinion.
