Fly ash for several years in the Czech Republic is not defined as waste material, but as the energy product. One of the biggest problems is the high variability of properties. This paper deals with one of the options to deal with the variability of fly ash. Specific solution is optimal mixing different fractions of fly ash. The paper also shows the measured compressive strength of the existing and new mixtures.
