The evaluation of this group of laboratory designed and further tested crumb rubber modified bituminous binders (CRmB) involved the application of finely pulverized, mechanically activated rubber with granularity of 0.0-0.8 mm. The used rubber was obtained from truck tyres, where a higher proportion of natural rubber is assumed. The objective was verifying the effect of using 8 % by mass of pulverized rubber in the bituminous binder together with selected catalysts which had been researched already within the framework of the earlier experimental CRmB binder versions and reported in previous reports. For the chosen variants, a chemical additive - Zycotherm by the Indian producer, ZYDEX; was applied as well. Last but not least, for the sake of comparison, we also include a CRmB binder with 15 % by mass of pulverized rubber for the sake of comparison of the effects caused by the rubber proportion in the binder applied.
