Original language description
The paper deals with probable damages of coated steel truss structure of the inclined conveyor bridge which may be caused by fire during the automatic extinguishing time delay. Numerical simulation in FDS gives a view into gas temperature environment inthe vicinity of structural members. The most severe temperatures are employed in FEM analysis of the most affected part of the bridge to calculate its mechanical behaviour. Structural damages in terms of global and local deformations as well as steel hardening caused by firefighter´s suppression are assessed. The paper concluded by recommendations for reconstruction of the structure after fire.
