Original language description
The on-going renovation and reconstruction of the Premonstrate Monastery in Teplá was the site for the application of the results of research carried out within the NAKI research project. Barrel vaults with lunettes over the arcaded walk of the convent had been damaged at the crown by a continuous tensile crack one to several millimetres in width. The vault was reinforced and stabilised with strips of a carbon composite and epoxy resin. The article describes the design and the stabilisation and reinforcement procedure of the vaults over the arcaded walk on the 1st overground storey of the convent damaged by a continuous, at places prominent tensile crack at the vault crown using the method of non-prestressed strips of a carbon composite
