Original language description
The world is changing. Increasing frequency of natural disasters due to continuously increasing global environmental changes is significant. Natural disasters like, floods, storms, fires, tsunamis, extremely warm, cold or dry weather are more and more frequent. Increasing economical and social problems result in migration and terrorism. The buildings for sustainable future should be better prepared for the new conditions – they should be more resilient. Concrete gradually becomes building material with high potential for expectant environmental impact reduction and high level of resiliency. Development and construction of experimental concrete frame structure for energy efficient buildings is presented in the paper as one of examples of possible solutions.
