TC1 - Parameter Identification Methodology: Final Report
Original language description
The task TC1 concentrates on identification of the probabilistic description of the uncertain material parameters based on experimental data. The objectives of this task are the development and implementation of a methodology which enables to find a probability distribution of model parameters providing a distribution of the model response corresponding to the distribution of the observed data. The basic idea of the method is to take into account expert knowledge (i.e. prior information) and to update this information by using experimental data. More specifically, the goal is to identify the uncertain parameters of the viscoplasticity constitutive material models and the damage model, both provided by AIRBUS DS, in a probabilistic framework based on material measurements. The outputs of this task serve as the inputs into the following analysis of life prediction of the thrust chamber.
