    Opportunities for use of advanced visualization techniques for project coordination

    The paper assesses efficiency of new visualization and modeling methods for management and coordination of construction projects. In recent years, many new visualization and interactive methods have emerged. Amongst them, we can find virtual and augmented reality with connection to Building Information Modeling (BIM). These new platforms enable completely new approaches across many scientific and technical fields. Civil engineering should not be left behind. This paper proposes implementation of these new tools into civil engineering with emphasis on management and coordination of construction projects. Evaluation metric is suggested for implementation of these new methods.
