Risk analysis of implementing BIM model into facility management
Original language description
The paper addresses the risks of implementing BIM model into facility management. For facility management, it is important that the BIM model contains comprehensive information about the building and its technological systems from all the phases of the construction process. The structure of the data and information in the BIM model needs to be determined in the beginning of the construction process to be able to connect BIM model and CAFM system. The amount of data and information gathered throughout the whole construction process is enormous. For successful implementation, individual steps of the implementation process need to be identified in advance. In this paper, the risks of implementation of the BIM model into facility management are determined and evaluated.
