Original language description
This paper deals with the behavior of glass bricks wall exposed to fire. Some aspects of glass bricks masonry related to production and masonry assembling are reviewed. The main topic of this paper is the description of small scale fire test of a glass brick wall. The measured temperatures and observation of the wall behaviour is given. The test is the first step to evaluate the glass wall behaviour at fire and to introduce this innovative material to the building industry.
