    Nonlinear material stress-strain response has a direct influence on global behaviour of stainless steel structures. Material nonlinearity leads to loss of stiffness, which results in greater deflections. Therefore, material nonlinearity should be covered in global analysis of stainless steel structures. To develop a simple global analysis method for these steels is the main aim of the described research.
