Experiments of stainless steel frames were prepared within this research. The global structure behaviour is planned to be examined and based on the experiments, a numerical model will be validated. Subsequent parametric study will be aimed on the proposal of a global analysis method for stainless steel structures, because their behaviour is highly influenced by nonlinear material stress-strain response. Material nonlinearity leads to loss of stiffness, which results in greater deflections. And greater deflections generate greater second-order effects. Worldwide research show this particularity needs to be taken into consideration when conducting a global analysis of the structure. However, the rules are missing in the system of Eurocodes.
