    Timber-concrete floor structures were so far used in case of strengthening of traditional timber floor to achieve higher load bearing capacity. These structures are nowadays highly perspective in the field of new timber buildings including multi-storey buildings. The timber-concrete element is made of upper concrete slab, connected by shear connector with lower timber beam. This type of element provides better parameters for both types of soundproofing and fire resistance beside the traditional timber floors. For industrially produced timber buildings, there is also new requirement to produce floor structures prefabricated or at least semi-prefabricated to shorten assembly time and save expenses as well. For production prefabricated floor elements was necessary to design new shear connector which will allow quick assembly along with good mechanical properties.
