    Timber-concrete floor structures were so far often used in case of strengthening traditional timber floor systems. The reason why are they used is to achieve higher load bearing capacity and stiffness of the floor slab. That can be done by removing upper floor layers, then beams can be equipped with shear connectors and finally is poured concrete as a top layer. In most cases are used dowel type fasteners, but this research shows that plate-type shear connector would be more suitable for production of prefabricated or semi-prefabricated floor elements which will allow quick assembly along with good mechanical properties like both types of soundproofing and fire resistance. The aim of this research is to develop prefabricated floor slab suitable for suppliers of prefabricated wooden buildings as a new building element.
