    Effect of surface treatment of straw on microstructure and mechanical properties of rapeseed particleboards

  • Original language description

    The microstructure and mechanical properties of newly developed rapeseed particle boards were studied in this paper. The rape straw surface was treated by boiling water and sodium hydroxide. The untreated rape straw was used as a reference material. An epoxy resin was used as a binder. Based on the results of mechanical properties, it can be stated that both surface treatments lead to an increase in adhesion. In order to better understand the microstructure, electron scanning microscopy was performed in this work.
