Original language description
This paper presents a comprehensive study on the terrain-tire interaction considering the dynamics and mobility of military trucks on various terrains. The theoretical basis of the developed model is presented, and simulation results are discussed, focusing on the driving force's dependence on tire types, characteristics, and ground properties. Authors introduced a mathematical model of a military truck built using MBS software DADS which was validated on deformable ground, considering well-known tire characteristics. The obtained results are analyzed in terms of military truck dynamics and mobility across diverse terrain and tire conditions. Potential applications and future research directions of developed model are indicated.
