This paper presents a software-based multi-criteria optimization of reinforced concrete floor structures, focusing on minimizing environmental impact and costs, while also considering durability - a factor closely linked to both. The optimization process involves the use of various concrete mixtures, includ-ing those incorporating environmentally friendly materials such as recycled aggregate and substitute cementitious materials. Different scenarios are analysed, considering varying spans, loads, and trans-portation distances for materials. The paper outlines the optimization approach, presents results for different scenarios, and offers recommendations based on the analysis.
