Improvement of Function of Idustrial Air Filters: Geometry Optimisation
Original language description
The contribution deals with the experimental research on the geometry optimisation of the distance between outlet and mixing nozzle and influence of volumes of filter inlet and outlet parts to the efficiency of pulse-jet cleaning. For evaluation of pulse-jet cleaning efficiency the point evaluation system was developed, based on the analysis of measured pulse pressure time signals in the filter bag during pulse-jet cleaning. As the optimum distance between the outlet and the venturi mixing nozzle with the throat diameter 48 mm was found the distance 135 mm, where the mixing nozzle plays the role of mixing ejector. The positive influence of enlargement of both volumes was found. The best evaluated is the alternative with the enlarged both inlet and outlet filter part.
