Improvement of Pulse-Jet Cleaning of Industrial Filters
Original language description
The contribution deals with an investigation of the influence of volumes of both inlet and outlet filter parts to the pulse-jet cleaning efficiency. Research was caried out on the laboratory filter with a single filter bag. For evaluation of tested alternatives a point evaluation system has been developed. The best evaluated alternative was found the filter alternative with the highest filter volumes both on the inlet and the outlet filret parts. Very strong positive influence of increase of the dirty (inlet) filter volume part to the cleaning efficiency has been found in case of the enlarged volume of the clean (outlet) filter part. This conclusion is unfortunately in contradiction with the practic of filter designers, who aim at minimising the filtervolume per filtering area.
